(Red Yeast Rice with CoQ10 plus Milk Thistle and Alpha Lipoic Acid)
Red Yeast Rice (RYR) is a natural product produced by fermenting Red Yeast (Monascus purpureus) with rice and has been used by Asian traditional herbalists for centuries. Alpha Lipoic Acid and CoQ10 for free radical protection is also included in this product, as well as Silymarin to support healthy liver function.* CoQ10 is also known for its cardiovascular supporting properties.* This product is carefully produced to avoid the presence of citrinin, an unwanted by-product of RYR fermentation process.
NOTE: According to the manufacturer, the soy listed in the supplement ingredients contains no phytoestrogens but is a naturally-occuring derivative of ingredients such as lecithin, soybean oil, vitamin E, and is not enough to cause allergic reactions.
Suggested Usage: As a dietary supplement, take 2 capsules 1 to 2 times daily, preferably with food.
