(Osteoporosis, bones) Our Bone Calcium is an excellent source of calcium rich, high collagen microcrystalline hydroxyapatite. It is synergistically formulated with other minerals to help maximize bone density. This product, when used regularly, may be helpful in reducing the risk of osteoporosis in middle-aged women, and those with a family history of this disease.
Regular exercise and a healthy diet with enough calcium help teens and young-adult, white and Asian women maintain good bone health, and may reduce their risk of osteoporosis later in life. Adequate calcium intake is important, but daily intakes above about 2,000 mg is not likely to provide additional benefit.
