Parkinson’s Disease

Supplement Guide The cause of PD is unknown. It is associated with a loss of dopaminergic neurons in the substantia nigra of the brain. People with PD have less dopamine in their brain than other people. Levdopa, a precursor of dopamine, is the drug of choice. Recommended Supplements: Brain Food, Brain Igniter, Gentle Colon Cleanse, CoQ10 or Heart Prolongevity, Natural 5-HTP, Vitamin C 1000 w/Bioflavinoids, Vitamin E, Adv. Gamma, Grape Seed, Healthy Liver, Neuro Balancer, and Galantamine. Stay on your medication. Consult with your physician if you are going to stop medication. Give Brain Igniter, 1 capsule twice a week. Eat Dopa beans as a protein source. If motor (movement) deficits present, take Melatonin. Avoid aluminum cookware. Avoid extra iron and manganese. If you need to take antibiotics, ask your doctor for Minocycline. It appears to prevent and treat Parkinson’s-like symptoms. Note: You don’t have to order all the supplements listed for each health condition. Start with the first one to three products, based on your needs. Take supplements for a minimum of one month (in severe cases longer) until relieved of the symptoms. Then take supplements on and off for maintenance.
